Pokemon GO Ditto Disguise

All Pokemon GO Ditto Disguises

It’s been a while since Niantic released Ditto in Pokemon GO. Ditto is a normal-type Pokemon from the Kanto Region. Pokemon already have more than eight generations but Ditto’s evolution is still unknown.

Ditto hides its real appearance by disguising itself as another Pokemon. In Pokemon GO, Ditto will look like a normal Pokemon in the map but once you caught one, it will show its real Ditto appearance – the slimy purple shaped Pokemon.

How To Find Ditto

Since Ditto disguised itself as another Pokemon, you won’t be able to exactly tell if it’s a Ditto or not. However, there’s a hint if you’re catching a Ditto in the game. Ditto has a lower catch rate in Pokemon and as a result, it will give you a hard time catching that Pokemon. For example, you’re catching a Pidgey and it keeps on getting out of the Pokeball, then that’s a sign that it was a Ditto.

Unlike other Pokemon, Ditto isn’t that useful battles. Ditto can copy the attacks, stats, and type of a Pokemon but it doesn’t allow him to copy the total HP of that Pokemon. For that reason, Ditto unuseful in Battles.
