Sad news for fans who are looking forward to play Aragami: Shadow Edition on Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, Merge Games has moved its release date next year.
Aragami: Shadow Edition for Nintendo Switch was announced last August and during the reveal, the developer said that it will be out this fall. However, due to some reasons, they pushed its release date until 2019.
“The work done by our partners for the port, Stage Clear, has been really fantastic so far. But we all agree that with more time to test and polish, we could guarantee a much more solid experience,” Lince Works director David Leon said. “We’re not in a hurry, so it’s better that we move our launch a couple of months. Also, most of you are still busy playing that new cowboy game anyway.”
While this is a sad news for some excited fans, it’s a good thing that the developer are doing their best to polish the game before its official launch on Switch. One of the features that were promised on this game is the cross-play between the PC and Xbox One players.
