Following the rumored email about the 5th Community Day event, Niantic has officially announced the Pokemon who will be getting the special move next month. According to their announcement, the next Pokemon GO Community Day event will feature Charmander (with a special move), 3x Stardust, and 3-hour span Lure module.
Similar to the previous reveal, the exclusive move for the special Pokemon is not yet revealed and is confirmed to only be accessible by evolving the Pokemon that was caught during the event.
Unlike the Mareep Community Day, the Charmander Community Day event will be featuring 3x bonus Stardust for every catch and a 3-hour lure module.
As for the Shiny Charmander and its evolution, we still don’t have enough information as of writing. But by looking at the previous event, it is not surprising to see Shiny Charmander, Shiny Charmeleon, and Shiny Charizard being added to your Pokedex. 5th Pokemon GO Community Day Schedule
The fifth Community Day event will take place on May 19, 2018 and it will follow the same time slots like before:
- Americas and Greenland: from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PST (GMT -8)
- Asia-Pacific region: from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. JST (GMT +9)
- Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. UTC (GMT +0)
