Already available on PC via Epic Games Store, iOS, Android and PlayStation 4, Auto Chess will soon land on PS5, as just announced by the developer Drodo Studio on the PlayStation blog. The title will arrive shortly after the launch of the new season, with features specific to Sony’s latest console.
On PS5, Auto Chess will benefit from the haptic return of the DualSense controller, vibrating according to the improvement of chess pieces, victories or defeated enemies. The PS5 will also allow reduced loading times thanks to SSD, but also improved and more fluid graphics, as well as cross-play to play between players on PS5, PS4, PC and mobile. Finally, the latest PS5 exclusive, the rare Date Masamune player will be offered in the game shop and on the PlayStation Store alongside other exclusive DLCs.
As for the new season, it will be The Legend of Lamp Witch, the 11th of AutoChess with new challenges, a seasonal Chess Pass with a new chessboard and the spacewalker piece. Season 11 will be launched on March 28, while Auto Chess is scheduled for release on March 30 on PlayStation 5.
