Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is doing a great job since it was released. However, there are some reports of the game’s memory leak that can damage the hard drive and eventually corrupt your Windows PC.
While Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is one of the hottest video game right now, it seems like its memory leak will cause a major error to PC users.
Black Ops 4 Memory Leak
According to a report on Reddit, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been writing and re-writing thousand of data on the hard disk where it was installed. In an article published by Cnet, continues and frequent re-writing an SSD is not a good habit. It will shorten the SSD’s life and also may cause unwanted issues on your Windows PC.

By simply looking at the screenshot above, the game eats more than 10 Gb of space for just almost 3 hours of playing. And of course, the game will eat more space as you play it longer. And soon, it will crash your game.
It’s normal if a PC game crash for some time, but what’s not normal is that the game itself is causing the crashing. In addition, the crashing of the game will not only kill your mood but will damage your system and your hard drive.
As of writing, no feedback from Treyarch has been made yet. But definitely, they will investigate and fix this issue as soon as they can.
Meanwhile, on the same platform, Black Ops 4 players have reportedly spotted a Black Ops 4 hacker that is using an aimbot for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Fortunately, Treyarch has acknowledged the report and said that their security team is now working to resolve this hacking issue.
