The newest Fortnite v10.30 is now live on all platforms bringing back the previously wiped out locations, some weapons, and more.
With the arrival of this update, fans should also be aware that a new challenge will be available since the Fortnite Season 10 Week 6 is almost over. The challenges for Week 7 are not yet available. So in the meantime, let’s take a closer look at the map changes for the Fortnite update version 10.30.
There are no exact geographical changes in the map but the new update brings back the old and memorable areas from the past.
Moisty Palms Returns
There are lots of encounters happened in this location in the past and if you want to experience how they feel, you should be dropping to the Moisty Palms.
It’s reappearance was caused by the Rift Beacon on top of Paradise Palms. The return of the Moisty Palms suggests that the desert biome of Paradise Palms may also disappear in future updates. As for version 10.30, players can now jump off and explore the dry and moisty area.
The Rift Beacon is not yet done with its crazy activities. Apart from the Moisty Palms, it also brings back the Greasy Grove. This place was previously known for the Durrr Burger, but now, it will be raining Tacos!
Throughout the game, random Spicy Tacos will fall from the sky. Players who are in the area will be dancing and they will be invulnerable to damage and will regenerate health. That was a good deal, huh?
The two mentioned locations are the most notable new areas on the map. However, there are also some buildings have returned including the Prison and the rocket reconstruction site that are both found in Dusty Depot. You can check the full map changes below:
Apart from the map changes, Fortnite v10.30 also brings back the weapon Tactical SMG. More bug fixes and game performance has also been applied in this update.
