Fortnite’s Frozen Monster Spotted Swimming Near The Island

Remember the last time that you saw the giant-eyed monster at Polar Peak? Well, it seems like the giant monster is now roaming in the sea after he escaped when Fortnite update v9.20 arrives.

Since the monster escaped, strange noises are being heard near the coast of the island. No one can’t tell where exactly this sound is coming from but based on the recent sighting, it seems that it came from the frozen monster swimming in the sea.

Just before the destruction of the castle at Polar Peak, the frozen monster can be found below its foundation. While everyone thinks that it was totally destroyed after the monster escaped, it seems that some part of it still survived.

One Fortnite player shared a proof on Reddit that the castle is still near the island as it was spotted floating and moving in the water. It’s still not confirmed why the castle ruins are there but one of the obvious reason is because of the monster that escaped. By the looks of it, it seems that the castle is attached to the monster’s head or something, making it appear and float in the ocean.

As you can see in the video above, the castle ruins are moving, making the theories that the castle is still attached to the monster. As of writing, there are not many details about this report. What we only know is the upcoming event may come with a word Cattus, which is the name tag attached to the sound files that were data-mined a few days ago.
