Junichi Masuda Hints Pokemon Sword and Shield But Nobody Noticed

If you’re one of the fans who is caught off guard by the Pokemon Sword and Shield announcement, well, here’s another interesting story for you about the game.

Apparently, it seems like Junichi Masuda, Game Freak director, has already teased the game last year. Looking back at Junichi Masuda’s tweet last October 2018, we can see him holding a mattress and tripod which refers to a sword and shield.

Of course, during that time no one could ever think that he was hinting for a new Pokemon game since we can also spot Link in the background. But now that Pokemon Sword and Shield has been revealed, it’s now clear that Masuda is trying to relay a message to us when he uploaded the picture.

There is no confirmation from Junichi if this is just a coincidence or not, however, we strongly believe that he was teasing Pokemon Sword and Shield. What do you think about his tweet? Do you also agree that he was teasing this new Pokemon game?
