Lince Works’ third-person stealth adventure game Aragami: Shadow Edition is coming to Xbox One. Aragami was previously an exclusive PlayStation 4 game, but the developer decided to port the game to Xbox One.
According to the announcement, the Xbox version comes with a bundled package for the upcoming “Nightfall” story expansion along with all its released add-ons to date.
Aragami is a stealth adventure that puts you as an undead assassin with the ability to manipulate and control shadows. By controlling the darkness, players can create new paths, materialize weapons, teleport, and even summon shadow beasts to take down enemies.
In a recent interview with the game developer, Aragami is inspired by old-school stealth games including Tenchu and MGS. The game is built around two different playstyles which players can swap at anytime without receiving any penalty.
Players can become a “Demon” or play with a power of a “Ghost”. The Ghost character gameplay requires players to play a complete stealth while the Demon will let you kill enemies in your path.
With regards to the Xbox One version, Aragami’s Lead Designer David Leon, said that:
We are huge fans of stealth games, but we feel that in the last few years ‘stealth’ in games has been diluted and doesn’t pose the same challenge. We wanted to fix that with Aragami, where you are outmatched, outnumbered, and alone.
Aragami: Shadow Edition is expected to launch along with the release of the expansion in the next few months for $24.99.
