New Pokemon GO Update Allow Players To Share Their EX Raid Pass With A Friend

Following the series of surprising Pokemon GO announcements, Niantic has rolled out Pokemon GO version 0.119.1 bringing new features including the PokeStop submission beta, EX Raid Pass sharing, and more.

If you’re wondering why you don’t see the new update in Google Play Store and App Store, please be reminded that everytime a developer releases a new update, it usually takes 24-48 hours for all the local stores to receive this updates. However, there’s a way to get the new update without waiting from the local store, all you need to do is download the latest APK file from the reputed third-party websites such as APKMirror.

Pokemon GO v0.119.1 Patch Notes:

  • Pokestop nominations will be available to level 40 players in Brazil and South Korea
  • You can now remove Pokemon from your Favorites while in the trade interface
  • You can now share an Exclusive Raid Pass with one friend
  • You can now swipe to dismiss in-app notifications

We know most of you are curious about how the EX Raid Pass sharing works. Thanks to the Pokemon GO data miner Chrales for sharing an in-game preview of the EX Raid Pass sharing.

As you can see in the photo above, there’s a new Invite button that when clicked, a window will be pop-up allowing you to search a friend and invite them to an EX Raid battle.
