Yesterday, Nintendo has announced that there will be a new Nintendo Direct presentation tonight at 11 PM Japan Time. The scheduled 35-minute presentation was set to discuss some upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Switch games, the Switch online subscription, and some more rumors about the upcoming titles and announcements.
However, an earthquake hits in Hokkaido, Japan. And for this reason, Nintendo has decided to reschedule the new Nintendo Direct presentation. According to the official announcement from Nintendo Twitter account:

As we all know, Japan was also hit by the most powerful typhoon this year and following this another earthquake event that caused a massive destruction and casualties, Nintendo has to delay the event.
As of writing, there is still no official announcement for the rescheduled date of the new Nintendo Direct, but as usual, we will be watching this news. So make sure to check our website from time to time.
