It’s been three years since Google joined the gaming streaming platform by launching YouTube Gaming. And now, Google is taking another leap in gaming technology with their new project called Project Stream that will allow users to play games through the Chrome browser.
This new service will allow you to stream some of the newest games directly from the Chrome browser. As announced, there will be a beta test of Project Stream for select participants. With the help of Ubisoft, participants will be able to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for free.
Google’s Project Stream aims to have games be streamable on its own Chrome browser without any problem, similar how videos and music played on a browser.
While this beta is completely open to everyone, Google will only select few people living in the US to participate in beta testing. If you’re living in the US, has a consistent 25 mbps internet speed, and want to try your luck for the beta testing, you can visit this link to sign up Project Stream beta.
