As the Generation 4 from the Sinnoh Region is getting close to its release in Pokemon GO, we want to properly introduce and get familiar with Cranidos and Rampardos, the potential powerhouse Pokemon that will dominate the other generation’s strong Pokemon.
We already started the introduction of Generation 4 Pokemon just a few days ago, and this time, we will be talking about Cranidos and Rampados, Rock-type Fossil Pokémon that will surely become the best attacker in Pokemon GO.
Cranidos and Rampados Evolution and Move Details
Let’s start with Cranidos. In other Pokemon game and anime series, Cranidos is the unevolved form. It is said it was resurrected from a Skull Fossil and evolves into Rampardos at level 30. However, there’s a difference in Pokemon GO. In order to evolve Cranidos into Rampardos, trainers are required to use 50 Cranidos Candy.
According to RankedBoost, Rampardos will have a max CP of 2523 in Pokemon GO. However, as seen in the previous reports after the official Pokemon release, the CP may change and will follow the official Pokemon GO’s statistics. Since Ramprados is a rock-type fossil Pokemon, it is weak against Fighting and Ground-type moves. But it can take a lot of resistance from Flying, Fire, Normal, and more type moves.
Rampardos will most likely be able to learn Rock Smash and Rock Throw as its fast move and a possibility to learn Ancient Power, Rock Tomb, Rock Blast, and Stone Edge as its charge moves.
Best Counter For Rampados
The fact that Rampados is a Rock-type Fossil Pokemon, its weak against Fighting, Grass, Ground, Steel, and Water-type moves. For this reason, here are the top 3 best counter Pokemon against Rampados from the same generation.
As mentioned earlier, Rampados maybe one of the strongest attacker in Pokemon GO. So make sure to catch Cranidos as much as you can when Generation 4 Pokemon are released.
