After more than 2 years of service, Pokemon GO and Apple Watch have been doing a great job in promoting a healthy lifestyle to users while enjoying playing their favorite game. Pokemon GO Apple Watch app has been announced in December 2016 where it features unique in-game advantage for Apple Watch users.
While many Apple Watch owners are satisfied with the service, it seems like they have to finally say goodbye to Pokemon GO on Apple Watch. As Niantic announced, starting on July 1st, Apple Watch support will be halted, meaning you won’t be able to connect your account with Pokemon GO anymore.
But why did Niantic stops Apple Watch support? It’s because of the new feature called Adventure Sync that allows players to track their steps, earning Buddy Candy, and hatching Eggs in one mobile device only rather than 2 separate devices. The developer also said that they want to focus on building Adventure Sync so that players can focus on a single device.
Since the release of Pokemon GO in 2016, lot’s of new augmented reality mobile games have popped up from side to side. Some of these AR games is The Walking Dead: Our World and the recently announced Dragon Quest Walk by Square Enix.
