Pokemon GO Item Storage Increased, Shiny Rayquaza Confirmed

Pokemon GO has announced the item storage expansion and the return of the Legendary Rayquaza along with its shiny form in the game.

Following the unexpected PokeStop invasion by Team GO Rocket, Niantic has revealed that they will be increasing the total capacity of item storage in Pokemon GO. From the current size, the new storage will be expanded to 2,500. That being said, trainers will have more slot to store their in-game items.

In addition to the storage expansion, Niantic also announced that the Legendary Rayquaza is coming back in five-star raids in Pokemon GO starting on July 31 until September 2. Unlike the previous release, the upcoming Rayquaza raids will be featuring its shiny form.

Of course, the odds of getting a Shiny Rayquaza is pretty low, so once you defeat Rayquaza in Raid Battle, make sure to catch him. Who knows? Maybe it’s your time to get a Shiny Rayquaza.
