The most popular Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo in Pokemon GO will no longer learn Shadow Ball and Hyper Beam charged moves starting on September 20th. For some reasons, Niantic has decided to make this two moves to be an exclusive move.
If you haven’t caught a Mewtwo with this moves, we recommend using some Charged TMs before the changes will be applied. As we all know, Shadow Ball is currently the best and most useful move for Mewtwo has right now. Apart from using it against another Mewtwo, this move is strong against other legendary Raid bosses.
In addition, if you’re planning to trade some Mewtwo and you have plenty of stock of Charged TM’s, use it so you could also TM Shadow Ball. By doing this, Mewtwo trade will be helpful to your friends. Once this change has been effective, the only charged moves left for Mewtwo are the Focus Blast and Psychic.
Mewtwo raids will become available for all starting on September 20th right after the three Legendary Birds, Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos left as the Tier 5 Raid Bosses. If you want to check the Raid Boss changes this month of September, make sure to check this link.
