Earlier this week, Niantic released a new Pokemon GO update which results in the discovery of the quest feature coming to the game. There is still no official statement about this, but fans are suggesting that this feature maybe coming on the Valentine’s Day.
I saw the first Valentine’s Day event happened in Pokemon GO last year, which means that we are getting closer to another Niantic’s announcement for this year’s Valentine’s event.
Unlike the previous Valentine’s Day event, this year’s event is more promising. With the release of new items and Generation 3 Pokemon, Niantic has a lot of option of what to do for the event. So what are the possible features of the Valentine’s Day Event 2018?
Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day Event Expected Features
As far as I can remember, the Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day Event 2017 features a 6-hour lure module, spawn rate increase for pink Pokemon, double candy and increasing the chance of getting a baby Pokemon. The previous event started on February 8 and ended on February 15, 2017.
Now, like what I’ve said earlier, Niantic has a lot more option this year. If they follow the same feature like what we have last year, we will be getting a lot of pink Pokemon this year. These include Blissey, Flaaffy, Grumpig, Granbull, Gligar, Hoppip, Forretress, Snubbull, Corsola, Miltank, Wurmple, Whismur, Skitty, Spoink, Lileep & Luvdisc.
Another feature addition that comes to my mind is the chance of adding a shiny form of one of the mentioned pink Pokemon above, Niantic has a habit of doing this kind of things.
