PUBG Mobile has been out for a while now, and for the first time, Tencent and PUBG Corp. announced a groundbreaking in-game activity. According to Tencent, PUBG Mobile has surpassed more than 10 million active users.
Surprisingly, Tencent did not include China on the total number of daily active users. As far as we know, the population of PUBG Mobile gamers in China is big, so if Tencent includes the numbers, then we should expect that it will be higher.
According to the recent report by App Annie, PUBG Mobile has been the hottest game from the App Store in 114 countries since it was released. It was also the hottest game in Google Play where it already got more than 10 million downloads.
Today, Tencent and PUBG Corp. announced that #PUBGMOBILE has surpassed 10 million daily active users (DAU) around the world (excluding China)! We would like to thank you all for being with us. pic.twitter.com/kVD6zqIRjS

With the recently released Miramar Map in PUBG Mobile, it surely boosts the overall game activity. Aside from the new desert map, Tencent also added new vehicles and weapons in PUBG Mobile.
PUBG Mobile is the major opponent of the mobile version of Fortnite. Currently, Fortnite is still in the beta phase in iOS only. We can’t compare them yet until Fortnite Mobile has been released officially. Aside from Fortnite, NetEase’ Rules of Survival is also giving the big giants a good competition when it comes to battle royale genre. However, due to some major copyright infringement, PUBG Corp has filed a legal case against Rules of Survival developer.
