Red Dead Online In-Game Progress Won’t Be Gone After Beta

Rockstar has announced that there is no plan to reset the in-game progress of players once the Red Dead Online beta ended.

This reveal follows after Rockstar initially said that there’s a chance that players may lose their data after the beta period. In an update posted on December 4th, Rockstar clarified that they don’t have any plan to reset the stats and progress that players achieved during the beta period.

“We appreciate all the continued feedback we are receiving on the Red Dead Online Beta,” Rockstar wrote on their official Twitter account. “For players concerned about the potential for progress and stat resets, we currently do not have any plans to reset them as part of the Beta’s rollout.”

This is great news for players who are worried about losing their in-game progress. However, the post says “we currently do not have any plans” when referring to not resetting players’ progress and stats. Meaning, there’s still a chance that Rockstar may still reset the stats to ensure the balance of the game once Red Dead Online officially launches.

Meanwhile, Rockstar has encouraged their fans to stay tuned for the upcoming update that they plan to release later this week which is focused on game stability and economy balancing.
