Unfortunately, the development of the popular game series The Wolf Among Us Season 2 and Stranger Things has been canceled following the Telltale Game studio shut down announcement earlier this week.
If you’re still unaware of what happened, Telltale Games hit a huge rock in their company and decided to stop and close the development studio.
In an announcement statement posted on Twitter, Telltale already fired around 250 employees from the company and retain only 25 employees. The remaining employees are still required to finish their jobs with the company’s board and partners.
As a result for the closure of the studio, the development of the second season of The Wolf Among Us and Stranger Things will be canceled. Just a few months ago, Telltale has announced The Walking Dead: Final Season, and for this matter, it seems like they are still planning to finish and release the game, tho there’s still no concrete words from the development team.
While there’s a chance that other company may snap Telltale’s project, the chance of getting back the company from its pit right now is a little bit low. However, we are still hoping that Telltale Games will rise up again.
