Despite the closed-door meeting for Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: The Final Season at PAX East, someone has still managed to grab and upload a clip of the demo gameplay for the new upcoming release.
Judging by what is shown in the leaked clip, it appears that the game has some major graphics and lighting upgrades. The video clip is short but you can easily spot the improvement of the game since its last series.
Telltale Games first announced the new and final series of The Walking Dead last year at Comic-Con. Being an episodic game, it is expected to see the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season this year, and we could see the remaining seasons put out far as next year. Telltale Games has yet to give more details about it.
While this video clip is really short, Telltale Games has confirmed that there would be a real-world movement that the previous series, meaning that players will have more time to control Clementine that they have developed over the past seasons. In addition, it appears that some zombie battles are not scripted at all, bringing unpredicted actions to the free movement.
Although it looks like we still have to wait for the release announcement, it appears that this final season is bringing a lot to the table.
