Boruto’s most recent Naruto Next Generations episode finally revealed how Kawaki received the Karma seal.
The anime began to adapt original content, from the manga, where Kawaki came to live with Boruto, while under the direct supervision of the Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki.
How did Kawaki get the Karma?
The mystery came to an end, but it ended up resulting in several new questions. After a time of living with Boruto, Kawaki decided to open up more about his life.
Curious to know how Boruto got the Karma seal, Kawaki is surprised to realize that Boruto was not the target of an experiment like him.
In a flashback, we saw that Jigen used his own Karma power to implant in Kawaki while the boy was trapped inside some liquid. The experiment took place with several children, but only Kawaki survived.
In the case of Boruto, however, the Karma seal came from his fight against Momoshiki Otsutsuki. The curious thing about this story is that the implantation method was different.
Somehow, Karma was implanted in Boruto during the final blow at Momoshiki. How and why does this connection happen? That the series still needs to answer.
In fact, there is still a lot to know about Karma in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Boruto and Kawaki just took a small step!
