Epic Games’ Fortnite Mobile For Android Is Coming This Summer

Following the initial release and beta testing of Fortnite Mobile on iOS a few months ago, Epic Games has finally announced and revealed the launch date of the Android version of the game.

According to the recent blog post on their official website, Epic Games confirmed that they are targeting the released Fortnite Android version this coming Summer 2018!

Fortnite is coming to Android!

We are targeting this summer for the release. We know many of you are excited for this release, and we promise that when we have more information to share, you’ll hear it from us first.

With the announcement release, Android gamers won’t be left out by iOS users in the storm. In addition to the Android release announcement, the development team also announced a series of updates and improvements are lined up for a better gaming performance.

Some of this features are the Customized HUD and the upcoming Battery Saver mode where lower graphics and battery consumption will be applied to the game. Epic also mentioned improving the game controls, especially the Autorun feature.

Fortnite Mobile was first seen on iOS device last April after the opening of the invite-only beta phase. Similar to the PC and console version, Fornite Mobile also have 100 PvP players crafting and fighting for their survival.
