Following the airing of the 2nd episode of the Food Wars! The Fifth Plate, the official website has announced that episode 3 of the fifth season will be delayed.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak in Japan, prime minister Shinzo Abe has declared the country in a state of emergency starting from April 16th to May 7th. Following the current rules of the government, Food Wars anime staff decides to postpone the release of the upcoming Food Wars! The Fifth Plate Episode 3.
During this break, its timeslot will be airing the episodes from the previous season of Food Wars! Below are the episodes that will be available during the lockdown
- April 24, 2020 – Food Wars! Season 4 Episode 1
- May 1, 2020 – Food Wars! Season 4 Episode 2
- May 8, 2020 – Food Wars! Season 4 Episode 3
The new schedule for the return of Food Wars! The Fifth Plate episode 3 will be announced on May 15, 2020. Food Wars! The Fifth Plate premiered its first episode on April 11, 2020, at 00:30 (JST).
