Apparently, players are required to have a stable internet connection to play the upcoming Beyond Good and Evil 2.
During the live Q&A stream last week on YouTube, Ubisoft has confirmed that Beyond Good and Evil 2 requires an internet connection. As stated, the game is an online multiplayer game and will only be playable if you have a stable internet that is needed to have seamless navigation, receiving updates, and more. Even tho it offers a single player mode, you are required to have a good connection to play it.
Internet connection requirement is one of the features that new games offer. While this feature is all good for a multiplayer game, it has been receiving a lot of criticism and negative feedback for a single player mode. Looking back to our old games, internet connection is not required for a single player mode.
