In One Piece, if the current user of a devil fruit dies, it will respawn somewhere and someone can acquire it again. And now that it’s clear that the previous owner of Time Time fruit Toki Kozuki is dead, someone in the current timeline may own this Devil Fruit. But who is the new Time Time fruit user?
In this article, I will discuss the possible owner of the Time Time fruit in the current timeline.
Who Is The Current Time Time Fruit User?
In the previous chapters of One Piece, Kinemon has revealed that they were sent by Oden’s wife to the future using the Time Time fruit. However, Kinemon also mentioned that Toki Kozuki, Oden’s wife, remain beside his husband and is claimed to be dead.
While Toki did not travel in time along with Momonosuke, it was revealed that she can travel herself in the future but seems unable to travel back in the past. It is also believed that Toki was not born on their era but came from the past.
Apart from that, no other ability of the Time Time fruit has been revealed. But in my opinion, the Time Time Fruit can also foresee the future. I don’t think Toki will just randomly send Kinemon on a random timeline. So it makes sense why Toki sent them in the future where she saw Orochi being killed.
Now in the current timeline, there is only one character in One Piece that has the ability to see the future. I’m not talking about the future like what Katakuri is seeing, but a future that can see far ahead of time.
This character is Madam Shyarly from the Fishman Island Arc. During that arc, we saw her seeing a vision of the future where the Fishman Island is in flame and thought that Luffy brought the destruction.
Now let’s say that my theory about the ability of the Time Time Fruit user can see the future is true, but why is that Madam Shyarly can’t travel to the future? The answer is simple. It’s because she hasn’t discovered this ability yet. If the time comes that she already learned this ability, then she can also travel through time like what Toki did.
In my opinion, such ability to see the future can’t be learned naturally. Just think of it, Madam Shyarly is the only one in One Piece world who has that ability. If it can be learned by anyone and not depending on a Devil Fruit, then why she’s the only one who has this talent? It’s not similar to a Haki where anyone can learn and awaken.
