Pokemon Duel Shutting Down Its Service This October

If you’re one of the Pokemon Duel players out there and still have a lot of gems on your account, you still have few more weeks to spend all of it before the game goes offline.

After its release last 2016, The Pokemon Company has announced that they will be shutting down the mobile game Pokemon Duel on October 31, 2019. Pokemon Duel is a free board game for both iOS and Android devices. While it gathered thousands of downloads and feedback from the App Store and Google Play, the publisher has decided to turn off the lights for the game.

“To express our thanks for playing the game, we’ve added a bunch of extras for the remaining months,” the Pokemon Company said “As of now, you may choose figures from the exchangeable lineup depending on your play history. All players can get one figure for every 50 League Match duels they’ve played in,” they added.

It’s still unknown what the developer planned to release before the game shuts down, but many fans suggest that the company decides to shut down the game due to the release of the new game called Pokemon Masters.

Pokemon Masters is the newest Pokemon GO game for mobile devices which is now in soft launch in some countries Singapore and Canada. Learn more about Pokemon Masters from this link.
