Niantic has officially announced that the global GO Battle League Leaderboard will be launching tomorrow, April 10th.
To celebrate the addition of the new feature, Pokemon GO will be featuring Marill in GO Battle Day. GO Battle League Leaderboard will be showing the top 500 players around the world. Here is what you will be seeing tomorrow:
- Top 500 trainers with their nicknames, teams, ranks, ratings, and total matches.
- Rankings are based on their previous day’s rating for trainer rank 7 and up. The leaderboard will be updated between 8:00 PM UTC to 10:00 PM UTC every day.
- Trainers with active violations will be excluded from the list without prior notice.
To celebrate the launch of the global leaderboard, there will be a GO Battle Day: Marill on April 12, 2020. This is a brand-new event featuring the aqua-mouse Pokemon, Marill. Participate in Go Battle Leagues battles as many as you can from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time and get more chances to encounter and catch Marill.
During the event period, Marill will be the basic reward after your first and third wins. Using Premium Battle Pass will guarantee the appearance of Marill after every win. Catching Marill during the time frame will also reward players with 2x Catch Stardust.
