Pokemon GO Has Finally Revealed The Ultra Reward And It’s Not What Players Are Expecting

Following the series of the event that started a few months ago, Niantic has finally announced the Ultra Bonus Reward after players successfully completing and achieving all the requirements for the Pokemon GO Summer Tour 2018.

Unfortunately, the Ultra Bonus Reward is not what we are expecting or the rumors that have been circulating these past few months. Instead of getting a new Pokemon, we’re talking about the Generation 4 Pokemon, Niantic has decided to re-release the previously released Legendary Pokemon and its shiny form along with Mewtwo and others.

As announced, the first Ultra Bonus Reward will be rolling out on September 13th at 1:00 PM PDT featuring the return of the three Legendary Birds from Kanto region. This includes Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos which will be available in Raid battles until September 20th.

To make it interesting, it has been confirmed that the shiny forms of the three Legendaries will also be available during the given period of time. In addition, the spawn rate of all Pokemon originally discovered from the Kanto region will be appearing more often until the end of the month.

The second wave of Ultra Bonus reward will be available starting on September 20 after the first wave ends. For the first time, Mewtwo is coming back to Pokemon GO. Unlike before where players need to have an EX Raid invite in order to battle with Mewtwo, this time it will be available to all players even without an EX Raid invite. Mewtwo Raids will be available until October 23rd at 1:00 PM PDT.

And last but not the least, Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros will be able to hatch from a 7 km egg throughout the month of September. These four region exclusives are not migrating so make sure to hatch one before they disappear again from the 7 km eggs.
