Pokemon GO Makeup Dragon Week Timed Research Is Live

With the technical issues that Pokemon GO players experienced during Dragon Week, Niantic has announced the worldwide makeup event to compensate for the event. Starting on August 21, 2020, at 8:00 AM until August 26, 2020, at 10:00 PM, players will be getting an exclusive Dragon Week Timed Research.

During the limited-time event, players will be getting the same reward as those for the Dragon Week Timed Research. However, the task and challenges will be a little bit different. Check out the detailed features of the event below.

Makeup Dragon Week Timed Research Features

Stage 1

  • Power up Pokemon 3 times – 3 Hyper Potion
  • Make 2 nice throws – 500 XP
  • Catch 2 Pokemon – 5 PokeBalls

Bonus Rewards: 500 Stardust, 1 Silver Pinap Berry, and Dratini encounter

Stage 2

  • Evolve a Pokemon – 3 Revive
  • Make 4 nice throws – 300 XP
  • Catch 4 Pokemon – 7 PokeBalls

Bonus Rewards: 500 Stardust, 1 Silver Pinap Berry, and Bagon encounter

Stage 3

  • Win a raid – 1 Charged TM
  • Make 2 great throws – 1,000 XP
  • Catch 6 Pokemon – 5 GreatBall

Bonus Rewards: 1,000 Stardust, 1 Silver Pinap Berry, and Deino encounter

Stage 4

  • Defeat 2 Team GO Rocket Grunts – 1 Dragon Scale
  • Make 4 great throws – 1,500 XP
  • Catch 8 different species of Pokemon – 7 GreatBall

Bonus Rewards: 1,000 Stardust, 1 Silver Pinap Berry, and Exeggutor encounter

Stage 5

  • Claim reward – 2,500 XP
  • Claim reward – 2,500 XP
  • Claim reward – 2,500 XP
