PokeStop Submission Feature Is Finally Coming To Pokemon GO

PokeStop submission is one of the most requested features of Pokemon GO players living in rural areas. While Niantic did not mention any update during the previous interviews and sneak peaks, it seems like they will be adding this feature very soon as they finally announced the start of beta testing of the feature.

According to the official Pokemon GO blog post, PokeStop submission will be available for Pokemon GO players in Brazil and South Korea. In addition, the new feature will only be available for trainers level 40 to avoid feature abuse and get an accurate feedback from the participants.

Players who are qualified the minimum requirements will be able to submit potential PokeStops by sending a picture of the location and its location description. All the submissions will then be reviewed by experienced and advanced users in the Ingress Operation Portal Recon (OPR) project which is also one of the games that were developed by Niantic.

Trainers who meet these initial requirements will be able to nominate potential PokéStops by submitting photographs and descriptions of the locations. Submissions will be reviewed by experienced users in the Ingress Operation Portal Recon (OPR) project.

There is still no official announcement for the global release of PokeStop Submission feature, but the fact that the beta testing is here, it safe to safe that in the next few months, it will be available globally. Stay tuned for more updates!
