Undeniably, the anime adaptation of the romance-comedy Rent-a-Girlfriend manga created by Reiji Miyajima is one of the hottest anime this summer. Well, anyone can’t resist the cuteness of the four girls in the series.
The first season of Rent-a-Girlfriend, also known as Kanojo, Okarishimasu, started its broadcast on July 11, 2020. The Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 1 has only a total of 12 episodes and since its still an on-going manga series, many are asking if there will be a second season of Kanojo, Okarishimasu anime.
Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 2 Renewal
As of writing, there is still no official announcement if the anime will be renewed. However, judging the feedback of the community on its first season, there’s a huge chance that official licensor will be renewing the anime for its second season.
In Kanojo, Okarishimasu Season 1, the anime introduced the four main characters that will be revolving the world of Kazuya. There, anime fans witnessed the sexiness and cuteness of Mami Nanami, Chizuru Ichinose, Ruka Sarashina, and Sumi Sakurasawa.
Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 2 Release Window
As mentioned above, the second season is yet to be announced by the licensor. Assuming that the anime has been renewed, the release of its second season may take some time. This is actually not surprising due to the current situation of the world right now.
With the on-going pandemic crisis, there’s a chance that the Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 2 will be a delayed for a little bit. However, if things go smoothly for the production team, expect to see the second season of Kanojo, Okarishimasu in summer 2021.
