The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 will be animated by the same studio that produced the first season, Kinema Citrus, along with DR Movie. Currently, the anime has already more than 36,000 users who are planning to watch the series according to Anilist. With the success of the previous season, it’s actually not surprising to see this huge fanbase gathering for the 2nd season.
The Season 2 will be a direct sequel of the previous season, which will be following the exact plot, based on the original series of the same title. Looking at the ending of the first season, Raphtalia, Filo, and Naofumi will be getting a new comrade as they face a new enemy.
As for the total episodes of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2, the production team has yet to announce this matter. In the previous season, anime fans got a total of 25 episodes.
