Tokyo Revengers Chapter 222 is really preparing the hype for the upcoming fight between the three deities. With Draken’s arrival at the amusement park to save Takemichi, an unfortunate event seem to trigger Mikey’s rage.

Tokyo Revengers has been a hit since the start of the new arc. The introduction of the three deities has been a huge impact on the story. Unlike before where the story revolves around the overwhelming strength of the Tokyo Manji Gang, the new arc surrounds the threat of the three big houses in the delinquent world.

Tokyo Revengers Chapter 221 Recap

The latest chapter, titled “Ups and downs of his fate,” features the return of Mikey to the series. Judging from Mikey’s pose, it seems that he’s looking out of a window of a building. The next scene continues the commotion at the amusement park. Senju was spotted in Takemichi’s arms while Draken was standing in front of the members of Rokuhara Tandai.

Upon seeing Draken, the gang member who tried to assassinate Takemichi fled. Takemichi asked Draken the reason why he was at the amusement park. The former vice-president of Tokyo Manji Gang reveals that Inupi heard the news about people planning to attack Takemichi and that they were going to the amusement park. Takemichi realized that the people were really trying to kill him. Draken emphasized that Takemichi is a big name and, knowing that he joined Brahman, they feel threatened and decide to make a move.

Unlike before, Draken also stated that the war between the three deities is not just a plain delinquent conflict as it involves shady business and company investments. As the two continue their conversation, Takemichi decides to tell Draken about his ability to see the future. Takemichi revealed that the vision he saw was of the dying Senju protecting him. But with the interference of Draken, they were able to change that future. Draken seems to be happy upon hearing that they changed the future of Senju.

Shortly after, Senju speaks up and asks them to leave the area. Takemichi agreed and while the two started running, Takemichi noticed that Draken did not move. Takemichi called Draken, but instead of fleeing the area, Draken asked Takemichi to relay a message to Mikey. As Takemichi tried to answer Draken’s request, the former vice-president of the Tokyo Manji Gang slowly fell to the ground. It turns out that Draken was hit by the bullets that were fired earlier. As the chapter gets close to its final spread, Draken tells Takemichi that he has already done everything that he can do. The manga chapter ends with Takemichi and Senju watching the wounded Draken lying on the ground.

As of the moment, there is no news or announcement for any delay or schedule changes of the upcoming Tokyo Revengers manga chapter. Just like the other popular manga series, Ken Wakui’s manga is getting a new chapter every week. Previously, the manga has been put on hiatus due to the scheduled break by the publishing company.
