Since this method will be using a blast furnace, you should build your own blast furnace first. Creating a blast furnace is pretty simple.
How to Make a Blast Furnace
First, you need an artisan table to unlock the blast furnace recipe. The artisan table can only be constructed when you get dragon tears, and the latter is taken as loot by the fourth boss Moder.
Once you’ve got the recipe, you’ll need some iron, stone, surtling core, fine wood and an artisan table to make a blast furnace.
The blast furnace is a bit taller than the standard smelter. You’ve got to position it in a way you can reach the left side of the furnace. Then, you need to put both coal and scrap metal ores on the left side of the furnace, which is different from the smelter.
After you’ve made scrap metal bars, you can craft higher-tier weapons and armors that you can use to survive the world of Valheim.
