Xiaomi Mi 11 Sells 3 Million Units Since Its Release, Xiaomi Announced

At the end of last year, Xiaomi presented the new smartphones of the Mi 11 family, which is one of the main smartphone lines of the company. Now the Chinese giant is celebrating the result of sales of these models, which reached a total of 3 million devices sold worldwide.

These data were verified by a third-party agency and are valid for the first quarter of 2021. These figures were celebrated by Xiaomi itself in its Weibo, which celebrated sales of the Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra models, leaving some other models of the same series outside the count.

In addition to sales figures, the company’s models also dominated the Android device market in China, with the best-selling smartphones in the price range between CNY 4,000 to 6,000.

As reinforced by the GSMArena portal, these 3 million units sold, even with Xiaomi not specifying this, are probably driven by these sales in China. However, with the availability of models increasing and new smartphones of the Mi 11 family being launched, it is very likely that the international sale of the models will increase, reversing the panorama.

These numbers are quite encouraging for the company, because the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is one of the main tops of the line of the company, in addition to being the first to come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. In addition to the very powerful chipset, the models of the Mi 11 family stood out for their cutting-edge technologies used in smartphones.

One such example is the Mi 11 Pro and 11 Ultra, which were released shortly after the “base” Mi 11 on March 29, which brought some improvements to the series. In addition to the powerful 5000 mAh batteries and 67 W fast charging support, the models showed considerable improvements in the rear cameras compared to previous models from the manufacturer.

In addition to the sales figures for its own smartphones, Xiaomi also has reason to celebrate with its sub-brands, such as POCO, which has recently become an independent brand and announced that it has reached the mark of 17 million smartphones sold.
