How to Access the Temple of Sitra Outpost’s Locked Chest in Shattered: Cuento del rey olvidado

This guide will show you how to access the chest in a locked room of an enemy outpost near the Temple of Sitra. Más importante, it will help you avoid spending restless nights lying in bed while staring at the ceiling and wondering if you are slowly going insane.

Introducción

Are you a kleptomaniac? Do you have some form of possibly undiagnosed OCD? Are you playing through Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King still? If you answered yes to all of the above then this guide is for exactly you.

If you have journeyed to the area of The Ancient Lands/Myosis near the entrance to Khotar and the Temple of Sitra, you have likely come across an enemy outpost that has a connecting bridge across to a separate tower. Inside of it, there is a locked door with a chest inside visible through the cracks in the door, but no obvious way inside.

At this point you could ignore it which would be smartbut if you’re like me, once you’ve seen it you can’t unsee it.

The key to breaking in is that you can still use the speeder-vehicle-thing inside the building. Line up facing the door positioned roughly as shown and spawn the speeder:

Si se hace correctamente, the vehicle will be partially in the room but still mountable. If you spawn it inside the door or wall, it will likely float up and into the ceiling; just try again after moving a little closer. At this point you can mount the speeder and just move into the room to dismount. Felicidades, the prize is yours! Now you can simply break the bars on the door from the inside and return to your business.

What is the loot, you ask?

For all your troubles, you are rewarded with the 5th essence extractor in the game. What these are for, I couldn’t tell you. Pero hey, loot get!
