How to get Palworld to work on Windows 7
Come giocare a Palworld su Windows 7
To get it working on Windows 7 devi
1. Download dxvk Version 1.10.2 from the following website: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
2. You must then extract the dxvk-1.10.2.tar.gz file using a zip program like Winzip, Winrar, or PeaZip.
After that you must then also unzip the file dxvk-1.10.2.tar file using the same program. When that is finished you should have these files
Inside this folder should be the following files
3. Inside the x64 folder is the files we need
So the next step is to select all these files and copy them to the following directory
To get there right click on Palworld then select properties
Select Installed Files and then Browse
You should then be in the following folder
You must then go to the Pal folder next to the Binaries folder and then finally the Win64 folder
4. Now take the files mentioned in Step Three and copy them to this folder and the folder should look like this
5. Now you need to Download Explorer Suite: https://ntcore.com/?page_id=388
You should have the following file
Install this and after instillation is finished launch CFF Explorer
6. Click in File then Open then navigate to the following directory
You should then be in this window there you select the Palworld-Win64-Shipping.exe file and then click Open
The following window will appear when it click on No
You Should Have this File tree on the left click on Import Directory
You Should then Have the following Window
Scroll down until you find Kernel32 Click on it then in the bottom window scroll down until you get to CreateFile2 next double click on it and rename it to CreateFileW
After that the window Should look like this
6. Next click on the file then save
It will then ask if you want to overwrite the original file click Yes
You might get the following window when launching the game if you do just click no
The Game will now launch and you can play Palworld
This could also work for Windows 8 e 8.1 but I can not test it at the moment so can not 100% Confermare.
Let me know if there are any improvements I can make to this guide any feedback would be appreciated.
