Save game for True Connection achievement – so you don’t have to aimlessly replay the game 20 volte.
The Save File
Please be honest and use this ONLY if you are sure you did everything as it should be done but achievement did not unlock for you. Achievements are meant to be earned – but they are also supposed to work properly. And this one does not. It obviously does not unlock if you do not get it on your first playthrough.
After completing the game 6 times in a row and NOT getting this achievement, I decided to try something new. Turned off Steam cloud sync, deleted all the save files and started fresh. Completed everything (the exact same way as I did in previous tries) up to Chapter 4 and backed up the save. Se funzionasse, I would post it here to spare everyone else from having to go through the game and waste hours for nothing.
It worked. Now all you need to do is download this save game file, extract it the right location (%Localappdata%\Detective\Saved\SaveGames) and start the game. Load and complete the very few last steps. I will not list them, if you are here – you know what to do and this guide is meant for you.
Achievement should unlock a few seconds after you exit the conversation (it did for me – I already thought I missed it again when it suddenly popped up!)
