Zombieland Saga follows the story of Sakura Minamoto, a high school girl with a dream of becoming an idol, who is hit by a truck. She awakens with amnesia in a zombie-infested mansion in Saga Prefecture, only to discover that she has become a zombie herself after being shot by a terrified police officer while attempting to flee.

Zombieland Saga is a Japanese manga series written by Megumu Soramichi. Since its serialization in October 2018, it managed to garner a total of 4 volumes. In 2018, MAPPA released an anime adaptation of the series. It was then followed by the sequel released in April 2021 as part of the Spring 2021 anime.
