As it says on the tin, there’s a rocket launcher hidden in the Arbeit 1 facility. Kijk zelf maar!
Where Do I Look?
Advance through the chapter as normal. Your Combine buddies will eventually join you, as you blow your way into the main Arbeit 1 facility. Work your way upstairs, dispensing lead to any rebels that haunt the corridors.
Eventually you’ll arrive in a room that’s currently under renovation. Deze.
The door ahead leads to a map change, but we don’t want to go there yet. There’s a large hole in the floor, but an even bigger one in the ceiling. You can’t miss it, as rebels will be firing at you from the floor above. Take them all out quickly, before they break too many props.
Dus, What Now?
Our goal is to get to the upper floor. With no ladders, trap, nor elevators, we’ll have to get creative. You can push around the wider wooden crates scattered around the area, be careful not to break them.
There are some smaller crates around that you can pick up, there’s one on the lower floor too. You need about three boxes stacked (unless you can get four), with one extra prop for extra reach. Here’s what I came up with.
Laugh it up. It is very flimsy and primitive, but if you can summon more big brain energy than I did, please do so. That’s three crates with a classic gaming monitor on top, this’ll be just high enough to reach the upper floor.
Eenmaal daar, you may notice a blue door in the corner, right behind that light there. You’d probably find it on your own at this point, Maar the rocket launcher will be on a crate next to it.
Dat is het, you’ve found the launcher! What you use it on will be entirely up to you though, you can’t hold on to it for too long anyway.
While You’re Up There…
There’s one more thing to check out up here. Nothing life-changing, but it’s a fun little easter egg. There’s a door to a pitch black-hallway, right across the pit. Bekijken. Be sure to use your night vision.
