Here’s a quick guide on how to easily complete and find the chip for the Fortbyte Challenge #74 called Found in a Filing Cabinet Inside an Assassin’s Basement on Desert Coast.
There’s a total of 100 Fortbyte challenges and each day, a new challenge is being unlocked. Successfully completing all the task for the Fortbyte challenge will unlock the puzzle for Fortnite Season 9.
Fortbyte Challenge 74 Location Guide
To get things started, players need to head to the east part of Paradise Palms and find the lone building near the edge of the island.
Once you get there, all you need to do is head to the basement of the building. If you use the front entrance of the building, the mark for the door that will lead you to the basement is the green painting on the wall. Enter the room on the left side and you will find yourself in the basement.
Unlike the previous challenges where you can easily spot the chip when you arrive on the area, Fortbyte chip #74 is hiding somewhere in the room. Find the small cabinet beside the table and break it so that the chip will appear. The last thing you have to do is collect and complete the mission.
