The world is still in the midst of a pandemic due to the virus outbreak happening around the world. Almost any country have locked their borders to contain and prevent the spread of the virus.
As of writing, there is still no vaccine for the Coronavirus. According to reports, it will still take a year to develop a vaccine that will stop the spread of the virus.
Each country has its own rules and way to prevent and contain the virus. Some of these are the lockdown and quarantine which is currently the best way to stop the spread.
Before the lockdown, staying at home and doing nothing is a good thing. But now, it seems that this case is no longer pleasant to many of us and staying inside your house all day will surely give you a lot of boredom.
Fortunately, Netflix is there to the rescue. Since the virus outbreak began, Netflix experienced a massive increase in new subscribers. Each day, new users are being added to their database.
Netflix’s library is bottomless and even if the lockdown continues for a year, you still won’t be able to finish all the films and shows available on the platform.
Knowing that the movie and tv show library of Netflix is huge, it seems that they are not finished to add more contents. In case you’re not aware, Netflix will be adding new anime in June 2020. The new anime is called A Whisker Away, a Netflix original co-directed by Junichi Sato and Tomotaka Shibayama.
A Whisker Away Release Date
The anime is one of the films expected to release in Japan but due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the country, they have decided to cancel it.
Thankfully, Netflix came to the rescue and got the license to release it worldwide. Now, anime fans will no longer have to wait for the release of A Whisker Away in each region as it will be released the same anywhere around the world.
Make sure that you have enough popcorn and soda next month as A Whisker Away anime will be available on Netflix on June 18, 2020.
