Ahiru no Sora Synopsis
Sora Kurumatani is a young boy who loves playing basketball. However, he lacks one of the most important assets in the game, the height. Despite being short, Sora didn’t make it as a reason to stop playing the game that he loves. Believing that he can do something, he used his height as an advantage when playing basketball.
To make his mother’s wishes, Sora becomes a member of a basketball club in Kuzuryu High School. However, the young boy was disappointed upon seeing the other members of the club.
Determined to revive the spirit of the basketball team, Sora challenged the boys to play against him, where he showcased his swift movements and shooting skills. Slowly, Sora’s skills impressed the other members of the basketball club. The boys suddenly find themselves rejoining the team.
Ahiru no Sora anime series is based on the manga series of the same title created by Takeshi Hinata. The manga series debuted in December 2003 and is still going strong in 2020. Currently, Ahiru no Sora manga already produced 50 volumes and the manga is also part of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
