BlizzCon 2021 is Not Happening Due to Covid, Blizzard Announced

With the coronavirus pandemic still a serious global issue, Blizzard announced today, May 27th, that it will be unable to hold a face-to-face edition of its annual Blizzcon convention in 2021.

The event is usually held in November in Anaheim, California, but fans of the company should keep in mind that the 2020 edition was also canceled for the same reason, giving rise to the first BlizzConline in February 2021. Despite the fact that the vaccination campaign is well underway in the United States, the company admits that it is difficult to predict how the country and the world will be at the end of the year, and because it is a massive fair attended by people from all over the world, the logistical challenges would be enormous.
