جزء 1: Exploration and Combat
To start off, it’s best to skip the tutorial due to a known bug as of April 30, 2023 that may hinder your progress. If you’ve already started the tutorial, simply log out and log back in to be placed in the actual game world.
One thing to keep in mind is that hunger and thirst drain quickly in the early stages, so it’s essential to gather any edible items you come across. If you need to take a break, press X to meditate and completely halt the hunger and thirst drain.

Run around and press F near bushes, tall grass, and piles of stones.

Press B. On the top-right, select the corresponding items and then click “يصنع”.
- Craft and equip 1 Wooden Sword (press F1)
لتبدأ, press B to open your inventory. ثم, right-click on your Stone Axe and approach a tree. Use the left-mouse button to cut it down. التالي, open your inventory once again and craft a Wooden Sword.
After crafting the Wooden Sword, right-click on it to equip it. Close your inventory window and press F1 to prepare your weapon.

Similar to before, search for and collect hay and twigs in order to craft the gear mentioned earlier. Keep in mind that the gear unlocks in a specific order, so they must be crafted accordingly.
This will be your last mission where you can feel relatively safe.
لذلك, before heading to the mainland, it’s wise to stock up on essential items. The starting small islands serve as safe zones where you can gather resources without encountering zombies. لكن, on the larger mainland, zombies will be present, and resources may be scarce, especially if you spawned at the southeast.
I suggest getting some of these:
- Empty Waterskin (if you can find two bunnies, run up to them by pressing ctrl and kill them with a single sword hit)
- السجلات (your sword will get damaged very quickly)
- Nettles (they drop Rough Ramie, which can be made into Bandages)
Fill your waterskin, get some food in your bag, then proceed with the missions.
- Go to the ruins
للبدء, press M to access the map and head towards the nearest ruin symbol. Upon arriving, expect to encounter two types of zombies – the Maniac Villager and the Maniac Outsider (located directly on the mark). While their abilities are similar, the Maniac Outsider deals slightly more damage.
After defeating the Maniac Outsider on the mark, take a moment to look around as there may be a wooden box nearby. لكن, be cautious not to stay in the area for too long, as the Outsider respawns quickly and can surprise you from behind.
To engage a zombie, activate your sword by pressing F1 or use your fists, and approach the enemy. Use the left-click button to attack, while keeping an eye on the yellow bar in the center of the screen, which indicates your stamina. If your stamina runs out, your attacks will stop, leaving you vulnerable to the zombie’s attack. Right-click to parry, but be aware that the zombies’ jumping ability can break your defense, making it not worth it.
You can dash twice by pressing shift and lock onto targets by pressing tab. If you get hurt, create a Bandage and apply it to yourself. بدلاً عن ذلك, you can head to a safe zone and meditate, though this might require sufficient hunger and thirst levels, which can be inconsistent at times.
Make sure to stay hydrated and well-fed; اذا كان ضروري, you can eat wild vegetables when thirsty, but be sure to locate the nearest water source to completely fill your thirst meter. If you don’t have a waterskin, hunt rabbits to obtain one.
Defeating zombies will grant you two beginner skills: Heart Buster (fists) and Sunburst (sword). These skills will appear as icons in the bottom-right corner of the screen and can be used with the hotkey Q. It’s essential to use them often, as each usage will improve the skill by gaining experience points. You can track your skill progress by pressing K.
- اذهب إلى “Southeast woodland boundary marker” and examine it
Follow the marker to the “southeast woodland boundary marker”. When you are near it, press F to examine it.
- Go to the Guayin temple (recommended level: 6) and sit on the designated spot
Follow the marker to get to the temple. It is tightly packed with zombies so be careful not to be overrun. There will be a square you have to sit at.
- Learn your first mind technique (?)
You have to run around and open chests/defeat zombies to collect 10 “Scroll Fragments of Varja’s Style”. حالما تمتلك 10, right-click it for a passive technique.
There is a locked chest in a house north-east of the temple, you need to craft a wooden key to open it.
You can improve this technique by meditating on the designated cultivation spots around the temple (and the world). You also gain experience while you play, passively.
جزء 2: Crafting and Building
- Craft an elementary lodestone and place it somewhere
Craft the item, then put it down. This structure denotes your “بيت”, but you can always move it around later (by just picking it up, keep F pressed).
- Craft a straw mat and place it somewhere
You can instantly log out via sleeping in a proper bed and gain rest bonus based on the time spent offline.
- Craft a Workshop and place it somewhere
We are placing our first construction building, this will open up the possibility of smithing and carpentry.
- Craft an Elementary Lumber Mill and place it somewhere
You need to craft 20 Rough Wooden Plank at the Workshop (and gather 30 Gravel) to build this.

You can craft these at the freshly built Elementary Lumber Mill. You need to put them into your bag for the quest to finish.
- حرفة 1 Box of Miscellany and place it somewhere
Same place, make a box and put it down.
- حرفة 1 Elementary Furnace and place it somewhere
You can do this at your Workshop.
- حرفة 10 Copper Ingot
Put fuel (على سبيل المثال. twigs) into the furnace, then craft 10 copper ingots. If you lack copper, you can find copper veins near cliffs or mountains.
- حرفة 1 Elementary Anvil and place it somewhere
You can do this at the Workshop.
- حرفة 1 Elementary Loom and place it somewhere
You can do this at the Workshop.
- حرفة 50 Ramie Threads
- حرفة 20 Rough Ramie Cloth
You can do this at the Elementary Loom. You will need a lot of Ramie for this – keep looting shrubberies and tall grass for them.
