Vincenzo Korean drama series starring Song Joong Ki, Jeon Yeo Bin, and Ok Taec Yeon has finally come to an end. The asian drama series just got its episode finale released on May 2, 2021. While we already got to see the conclusion of the series on its 20th episode, many drama fans are wondering if there will be a second season of Vincenzo.
The ending of the Korean drama seems to be a little bit off than what many fans are expecting. Vincenzo debuts with Vincenzo Cassano played by Song Joong Ki, watching the building being demolished. لكن, we did not see Vincenzo actually demolishing the building to get the golds in the vault. في حين أن, we got to see the main character being targeted by the Korean police after abducting Choi Myung Hee.
This makes Vincenzo a fugitive in Korea, which restricts him from making a public appearance. The Vincenzo episode finale also didn’t see the villain Jang Jun Woo, played by Ok Taec Yeon, actually being killed. What Vincenzo fans witnessed is him still being alive while being accompanied by a crow. This scene leaves fans some curiosity if he will return to make revenge against Vincenzo and Hong Cha Young. Is this a setup of a second season of Vincenzo?
Will there be a 2nd Season of Vincenzo?
The last scenes from Episode 20 of Vincenzo surely increases the chance of having a Vincenzo Season 2. But as of the moment, the production team along with Netfilx hasn’t announced any details about the renewal of the Vincenzo Korean drama.
As a Korean drama fanatics, I have already watched a lot of Korean drama series with cliffhangers just like this. I don’t want to totally close the possibility of Vincenzo getting its second season, but looking at the entertainment industry in Korea, especially dramas like this, there’s a very little chance that we will be getting another season of Vincenzo.
Vincenzo is not the only drama series that deserves to have a second season. Way back 2019, we received the action-packed drama series starring Lee Seung-gi and Bae Suzy titled Vagabond. The final episode of Vagabond is definitely a huge cliffhanger for the series and many fans are waiting for the continuation. The Vagabond is getting close to its second year since its release but there are still no official announcement for the second season.
Just like Vagabond, we still have to wait for the official announcement whether Vincenzo will be renewed or not. While we’re still waiting for its return, make sure to prepare yourself for the return of Song Joong Ki in the 2nd season of Arthdal Chronicles and Jeon Yeo Bin in Glitch.
