In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 47, the fight between Isshiki Otsutsuki and Koji Kashin continues. Everyone in the room is watching the fight and they witnessed how Isshiki has been reborn with the help of Jigen as a vessel. Amado gives Naruto and the others more details about Karma and how to defeat Isshiki and stop his madness. While telling the details that he knows, Kawaki entered the room and tried to attack Amado. Fortunately, Sasuke was there to stop him.

As the commotion continues, everyone noticed that Isshiki is having a hard time dealing with Koji’s attack. But later on, the villain managed to stop the fire. The battlefield was covered with a cloud of smoke and in the room, they witnessed how Kawaki’s Karma disappeared. It turns out, this was the sign that Isshiki was reborn.

Isshiki Otsutsuki slowly appears from the smoke and he was greeted by Koji. At the same, the enemy showcased his power by shrinking the objects on the battlefield. During the process, the scout frog was also detected which disconnects Naruto from viewing the battle. Isshiki continues to use his power and as a result, Koji’s mask was also destroyed.

Just right after the mask was destroyed, the enemy told him that he now understands why Amado decides to follow Koji’s path. Now that the mask has been destroyed, the full face of Kaji has finally been revealed. It turns out that it was Jiraiya. Not the Jiraiya that we know in Naruto Shippuden, but this was a perfect clone of Jiraiya.

It’s not surprising to see a clone in Boruto. In Naruto Shippuden, we have seen how Orochimaru revived all the previous Hokage to help them fight Madara. While this is pretty normal, the question here is who cloned Jiraiya? Is Orochimaru the mind behind this cloning knowing that he already cloned lots of Mitsuki?
