Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 – Borderless Windowed Mode Setup

Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is the newest installment for the Car Mechanic Simulation series developed by Red Dot Games. Currently, players are able to play Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 in fullscreen mode. While this mode is already good enough to enjoy the game, it seems that there are players who want to play Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 in borderless windowed mode.

On some Windows PC games, developers have this feature added in the game menu. But in the case of Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, you won’t be able to find these settings in the game. This restricts players to use the borderless windowed mode. But thankfully, there’s still a way to force Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 to use the borderless windowed mode feature.

How to Enable Borderless Windowed Mode

1. Open Steam.
2. Go to the Library tab.
3. Find and right-click the Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 logo.
4. Select Properties and go to the General tab.
5. In the Launch Option section, enter -popupwindow in the input box.
6. Save changes and re-open Car Mechanic Simulator 2021.

After saving the changes, your game should now launch in borderless windowed mode. To restore the fullscreen mode, simply remove the code mentioned above.
