Collection of Bopl Battle Combos You Can Try

A guide to a bunch of cool combos that me and my friends have found!

Introduction

Are your friends constantly beating you with boring, repetitve combos?

Do you want to obliterate your friends with fun and somewhat unfair setups?

Do you just want to have some fun?

Then this guide is for you! In this guide, I will introduce you to a handful of fun combos that I have found, and some combos to counter common ones!

Boring combos

There are two combos that I find incredibly boring and almost always result in the user winning. They tend to lead to repetitive, drawn-out gameplay that is no fun for anybody (except maybe the user).

Later on in the guide I will discuss counters to these combos, but for now I will simply explain what they are.

Triple Blink Gun:While this combo is definitely not too evil, I find it can be repetitive and uninteresting, since it only has one attack: temporarily delete the floor under and around your opponents. The most obvious counter to the triple blink gun is, ironically, triple blink gun, and this can lead to a fun blink war. However, on smaller maps, a blink gun war can easily destroy the entire map, and if you do not want to have a blink war, it is no fun at all.

Triple Dash (aka Jakob’s combo):Triple dash is my least favourite combo in the game. Its entire purpose is to draw out gameplay by hopping around in the air away from your opponents until they die on their own. Unfortunately, unlike triple blink gun, using triple dash against triple dash only makes it more boring.

Mine + Blink Gun + Blink Gun

By combining the mine ability with two blink gun abilities, you get an interesting variation of the common triple blink gun combo.

How I use it:

  • Use the blink guns to make your enemies fall in the water or prevent them from using their abilities
  • Use the blink guns on your enemies to temporarily stop them from doing anything
  • Lay mines as you go to convert the map into a dangerous minefield
  • Use the blink guns to temporarily vanish your mines to make your minefield easier to navigate

Tesla Coil + Push + Shrink

This combo is great fun. Not only is shrink an extremely versatile tool, but when combined with tesla coil and push, it leads to a great, fun combo that can often win while still keeping it somewhat fun for your opponents (even though they will probably lose).

How I use it:

  • First, I choose a nice, small platform that I can reach, ideally on the other side of the map.
  • Second, I place a tesla coil on the opposite side of the map to the platform I have chosen.
  • Next, I run to the small platform and shrink it, ideally multiple times.
  • Finally, I jump onto the platform and place a tesla coil, before using push to move the arc across all of my opponents.

Smoke + Revival + Mine

This combo is a nice combo that can lead to fun and confusing games, with plenty of explosive action. One of the great things about the combo is that it includes revival, giving you a second chance if you mess up.

How I use it:I actually use this combo in a variety of ways. The simplest way is as follows:

  • First, lay a mine.
  • Next, surround the mine with smoke, ideally as much and as far-spreading as you can.
  • Try to remember where the mine is, but revival can save you if you accidentally detonate it.
  • Make more!
  • Finally, wait for your opponent to accidentally activate the hidden mine(s).

The other way I commonly use is as follows:

  • First, create a huge smoke cloud!
  • Second, set your revival point outside of the cloud.
  • Next, place a mine in the smoke cloud and wait for your opponent(s) to walk into the cloud.
  • Finally, jump into the mine to detonate it, igniting the whole cloud and killing you and your opponent!
  • You revive at the revival point outside the cloud, ready to win or keep playing.

Dash + Teleport + Dash

This combo is useful, especially if your opponent is not using dash. However, this combo can be quite limited, since there are fewer strategies with which it can be used.

How I use it:

  • Dash off the side of the map.
  • Place the first teleport mid-air.
  • Dash back again.
  • Get near your opponent and activate teleport, teleporting them and you off the map.
  • Dash to safety!

Dash + Rock + Missile

This combo was discovered by my friend, and is very versatile and difficult to counter, but surprisingly simple. It is effective at both long and short ranges!

How my friend uses it:

  • First, dash repeatedly toward your opponent.
  • Try and get on top of them and use rock to kill them.
  • If your opponent gets far away, use missile to attack them instead.

Grow + Black Hole + Platform

This combo is great if you like destruction! As long as your opponent does not have shrink, it can quite easily destroy the entire map (except you).

How I use it:

  • First, use black hole, ideally near the centre of the map.
  • Next, use grow on the black hole.
  • Keep using grow on the black hole.
  • Use platform to create platforms as the rest of the map is destroyed.
  • That’s it!

Countering the boring combos

The following combos can be used to counter the boring combos effectively!

Dash + Stop time + Bow

This is an effective counter against both of the boring combos. Just dash off the map, stop time and attack them with the bow.

Smoke + Stop time + Bow

This combo is a modified version of the above combo that means it is better suited for dealing with triple blink gun. Just place smoke around where you are to prevent them using the blink gun against you, stop time and shoot them with the bow!

Conclusion

Overall, there are many fun and interesting combos in Bopl Battle. Feel free to post your favourite combos in the comments!
